Cell is the basic unit of life

It together forms tissue and then organs and organ system

Atlast gives shape to our body

So they are structural unit

Cells are important for multicellular organisms

we know that the cell is made up of molecules but we say that the cell is the basis unit of life because everything is made up of molecules but the function of every thing is different from each other as molucles of cell is not visible to us so we take cell as structural and functional unit of life
