In the census method of collection of data, each and every individual of the population is included for research.

In sample method, a short amount of representative individuals are included to conclude the results.

Differences:

In census, every individual of the population is recorded while in sample, only some of them are included.

The result of census method is more accurate than the sample method.

The census method is efficient for cases where area of investigation is limited and requires examination of all the individuals of the population where in sample method lesser amount of work is done.
