The central idea of the poem please listen is that the poet request every person who is in his surrounding to listen to his problems. When poet try to tell anyone his problems they started to give him advice and the poet does not want the advice from anyone because it is a very cheap thing. No one listen at his problems even his parents all people started to give him advice. So, the poet is requesting everyone to listen to his problems and he did not want anyone's advice.
