The CGS unit of resistance is Ohm(Ω)

1) Resistance is the ability of the conductor to resist the current and produce heat energy at that moment.

2) According to the ohm's law resistance is the ratio of the voltage to the current flowing the circuit.

3) The unit of the resistance is same in all the system that is ohm(Ω).
