QUESTION :-  \sf \frac{10x - 1}{x} = 3; find \sf x.

SOLUTION :-

 \sf \frac{10x - 1}{x} = 3

On cross multiplying,

 \sf 10x - 1 = 3 \times x

 \sf 10x - 1 = 3x

 \sf 10x - 3x = 1

Futher simplifying we get,

 \sf 7x = 1

 \sf \fbox \red{ \therefore \: x =  \frac{1}{7}}

Hence, \sf \frac{10x - 1}{x} = 3 is \sf \fbox{x =  \frac{1}{7}}

Hope it helps ✌
