CH2 + O2 -> CO + H2O Mrs. Jones asked her class to come up with 2 true statements about the chemical equation shown above. Jenny said that the reactants in the equation were CH2 and O2 and the products were CO + H2O. Jeffery said that there were 2 atoms of oxygen (O) on the reactants side and 2 atoms of oxygen on the products side. Lisa said the chemical bonds of the reactants were broken to produce one molecule of water (H2O) and one molecule of carbon monoxide (CO).

Who was correct?

Group of answer choices

Only Jenny and Jeffery are correct since chemical bonds were broken on the products side too.

None of the students are correct

All three students were correct.

Jeffery is the only one who is correct since he counted the atoms.
