Basicity can be defined as the ability of electrons. More availability of electrons more rapidly they can be denoted. F is an electron withdrawing group and electronegativity of fluorine is very excessive and it attracts the electron pair towards itself. Due to the different electronegativities of H and F the availability of the electron in (CH₃)n is more than that of (CF₃)n.CF₃ group behaves as electron retreating group it decreases the electron density on nitrogen and makes much less basic. In case of (CH₃)n the lone pair is connected in N so it could be act as an electron pair donor or lewis base.
