Why neutron has no charge?

Good question,

Here is your perfect answer!

A neutron consists of 2 down quarks and 1 up quark.

Up quark has +2/3 charge while down quark has - 1/3.

So total charge of neutron = - 1/3 + (-1/3) + 2/3

= - 2/3 + 2/3

= 0.

So it is  \huge \boxed{ \red{ \mathscr{ NEUTRAL}}}

 \bf{QUESTION}
Why neutron has no charge?

NEUTRON HAVEN'T ANY CHARGE BECAUSE OF PRESENCE OF TWO TYPES OF QUARK.

 \bf \pink{FIRST \:  UP \:  QUARK  }

 \bf \pink{SECOND  \: DOWN  \: QUARK}

THE VALUE OF UP QUARK IS

 \huge{ \bf{ \frac{2}{3} }}
AND VALUE OF DOWN QUARK

 \huge \bf{ \frac{ - 1}{3}}

NEUTRON HAVE 1 UP AND 2 DOWN QUARK

HENCE

 \huge \bf{ \frac{2}{3}  +  \frac{ - 1}{3} +  \frac{ - 1}{3}}

 \huge \bf{ \frac{2}{3}  +  \frac{ - 1}{3}  -  \frac{1}{3}}

 \huge \bf{ \frac{2}{3}  -  \frac{2}{3}}

 \huge \bf{ \frac{2 - 2}{3}}

 \huge \bf{ \frac{0}{3}}

 \huge \bf{ =  > 0}

HENCE NEUTRON HAVE NO CHARGE
