The list of things to be counted are as follows:

Ones

(Things counted in the range of 1-9)

• Our forelimbs and hindlimbs. (Animals have two forelimbs and hindlimbs.)
• The number of blackboards used in each classroom. (Each classroom uses only one blackboard.)

Tens

(Things counted in the range of 10-99)

• Students in each class. ( One classroom can hold a maximum of 45-55 students.)
• The number of electrical appliances in our house. (Considering all the fans, lights, refrigerator, micro oven, geysers, and air conditioners, it will be within a hundred.)

Hundreds

(Things counted in the range of 100-999)

• Books in a library. (There are hundreds of books in a library. Each cupboard may contain more than 25 books.)
• The number of colors available in the world is in hundreds. ( New colors may evolve each day. But at present, there are more than 100 colors in the world. )

Thousands

(Things counted in the range of 1000-9999)

• The grains harvested in a field are uncountable. (It is not possible to count the numbers of grains. There are thousands of them.)
• The number of grass blades in the playground. (A ground has more than thousands of grass blades.)
