speed = distance/time
17 = x/t
x = 17t
For second:
Distance = 391 - x
speed = 23 m/s
time = t
speed = distance/time
23 = (391 - x)/t
23t = 391 - x
putting x = 17t
23t = 391 - 17t
3t + 17t = 391
40t = 391
t = 391/40
t = 9.77 second
