Since, we know, cotΘ = cosΘ / sinΘ

and, cos²(x) = 1 - sin²(x)

⇒cos(x) = ±√{1 - sin²(x)}

Therefore,

cot(x) = ±√{1- sin²(x)}/sin(x)

Answer:

cot theta = \frac{cos∅}{sin∅}

and cos∅ can be written as= \sqrt{1-sinx^{2}∅ }

so cot theta =  \frac{\sqrt{1-sinx^{2} ∅} }{sin∅}

Hope this is helpful
