Active Voice refers to a sentence in which the subject is performing the action.

Passive Voice refers to a sentence in which the subject undergoes the action. In other words, it is writing the sentence in reverse order.

Example: I am going to visit my grandparents. (Active)

               My grandparents are going to be visited by me. (Passive)

• We are going to sound the siren.

2. The Taj Mahal, one of the wonders of the world, was built by Shah Jahan.

• Shah Jahan built the Taj Mahal, one of the wonders of the world.

3. He was scolded by the class teacher for his rude behavior.

• The class teacher scolded him for his rude behavior.

• Everybody regards his father as the wisest person of this colony.

• The two parties are signing the treaty.
