Change in indirect speech.
1. Prabhakar said to Anil,"Shall I send you my bike?"
2.He said to us,"Did his majesty the king grant you audience?"

2. He asked us if his majesty, the king granted us audience.

samyapuranik: Thanks for the suggestion, but if i do change the should to would, it may appear like Prabhakar is borrowing the bike from Anil, which is the not the case. It's the other way round :)))

☆ Since the sentence is in Yes/No type question, we need to join the sentences using if / whether. ☆

☆ Shall is not changed to 'should' .Rather it is changed to 'would'. ☆

☆ The first rule is same as the previous one.☆

☆ Since the reported clause is in simple past, it is changed to past perfect tense.☆
