Active Voice refers to a sentence in which the subject is performing the action.

Passive Voice refers to a sentence in which the subject undergoes the action. In other words, it is writing the sentence in reverse order.

Example: I am taking a printout. (Active)

               A printout is being taken by me. (Passive)

NOTE: Sentences that convey habitual actions cannot be changed to passive mode.

Let my bags be carried to my room. (Passive)

Carry my bags to my room. (Active)
