After adding salt into the water ..... you will find that the AMT of water remained same inspite of increasing a bit

these is so becoz....

--- the salt particles sattle in the space present between the water particles as there are some space between particles in liquids as compared to solids .

the amount of salt or any other solid that can be mixed with the water or any other liquid is called it's solubility
