The change of state of matter done in three ways:-

i) Solid

ii) Liquid

iii) Gas

Solid has packed in strong intermolecular force. It has definite shaped and volume. It cannot flow.

Liquid has packed in weaker intermolecular force. It has not definite shaped but it has definite volume. It can flow easily.

Gas has free to move there is no intermolecular force. It has no shape.
