The following points may help you :-

1. The best way to establish democracy in a country is by the people themselves. We may give example of Arab. Arab up rising, revolutionary movements in Egypt in an attempt to bring about democracy. It was an endeavour on part of the people to pressurise the existing system to transfer power to them.

2. Another important method of promoting or bringing about democracy is by the rulers themselves, we may give example of Bhutan where the monarch voluntarily decided to relinquish throne and give power to the people.

3. Democracy promotion can also be done through International organisations like UN ,which for instance, has provided electoral assistance in war torn countries like Congo, Sudan etc

4. Many regional organisations like SAARC, which has a charter on democracy and aims at promoting the spirit of democracy in south Asian region , ASEAN are also promoting democracies in the regions.

5. Democracy promotion can also be done through media, Internet, which can play a pro active role in promoting ideals associated with democracy, encouraging people to  act collectively , in demanding democracy and transferring power to them.
