1. By whom is the bell being rung?

\bold {Reason:-}

✔️When we have the question word 'Who' in AV, there is a need to use 'By Whom' while changing into PV.

✔️The sentence is in present continuous tense, so we have to use 'being' in PV.

AP : WHO + Aux. Verb + Main V. + Object

PV : BY WHOM + Aux. Verb + Object + BEING + past participle of the Main V.

2. Where has your friend been seen by you?

\bold{Reason:-}

✔️When we are given the question words such as WHO, HOW, WHEN, WHERE, WHICH etc in the AV, we need to write it in the PV putting such question words in the beginning.

✔️The sentence is in present perfect tense, so there is a need to use 'been' in the PV. We are using 'has' in the PV because 'Your friend' is singular.

AV : WHERE + have/has + subject + main verb + object.

PV : WHERE + have /has + object + been + past participle of main verb + subject.

\texttt{NOTE :} Have is used in case of plural number and has is used in case of singular number.
