It is a form of verb which shows that whether the subject of a sentence does an action or not.
There are two types of voice....

if subject done the work itself then it is called active voice.
For example- Shivam broke the window .
Here 'Shivam' has done something to the window, so the sentence is in the active voice.
●
If something is done to the subject then it is called passive voice.
For example- The window was broken by shivam.
Here Something is done to the subject ( window ) . this sentence is in passive voice .
People do not take the law seriously.
( Active voice )
The law is not taken seriously by people.
( passive voice ) .
