Answer :

1. Mariam has been fasting since sunrise .

2. He has not been visiting us since 1999.

Structure of present perfect tense :

Subject + have / has + verb 3rd form + object.

Structure of present perfect continuous tense :

Subject + have / has + been + verb 4th form + since / for + time + other words.
