a) The young boy is Dr. A.P.J. Abdul Kalam.
b) He was in lot of pain since he has to walk for long miles to the saintly teacher near the temple and then to the Arab teaching school. He has to climb hills to reach railway station road to collect and distribute newspaper to the citizens of temple city.
c) The pain was transformed into strength. It took place by means of kneeling and bowing five times.
d) 'Kneeling and bowing five times' is way of praying to the god in the Muslim custom.
