Elections are supposed to be 'carnival of democracy', however, this cartoon shows chaos instead. This is not the truth of elections always. Generally, majority of the elections are conducted peacefully in a democratic manner. Conducting elections in chaotic lawlessness is not good for democracy. This is harmful and can destroy democracy since most of the people will not go to the polling booth for voting

This cartoon depicts ruling party members attempting to listen to the ‘tiny’ opposition! Yes, in the beginning, there was only one political party which dominated in the Rajya Sabha/Lok Sabha. The opposition was not very popular to play any significant role, as they were just nominated representatives in both the parliament houses. The cartoon depicts the role played by opposition party and the ruling party trying to make efforts to hear its voice.

It is difficult to manage such a huge group, however it is not unmanageable because since 1952, our election commission has been effectively managing it until date. In India, such a huge group of adult voters in various areas, belonging to diverse castes are described by all political parties in different sections/groups/interests.

This is good for democracy to make sure there is free and fair elections. Election Commission enjoys many powers, functions, and rights, being an autonomous body of nations.

However, a person accused of a serious crime should be barred from contesting elections because (i) He/she can threaten the candidates and voters, contesting elections. (ii) The group which believes in bullet and not in ballot. (iii) He/she can use muscle and money power.
