Answer:

1. The fibers which made by man using Petro chemicals are called synthetic fibres.

Examples - Rayon , Nylon , Polyester/Tereleyne , Acrylic etc

2. Natural fibres are obtained from the plants or animals and processed to produce a fabric.

Example - Cotton, jute, silk , wool, hemp, flax etc

The fibers which made by man using Petro chemicals are called synthetic fibres.

3. Cellulose

  1. Artificial silk
  2. polyester

I didn't get the other questions. You have done a few spelling mistakes.

4. Nylon is used to make rock climbing ropes, fishing nets, wind cheaters, swim suit, rain wear, bristles of toothbrush and paintbrush, strings of musical instruments and racquets,etc..

5. The characteristics of Synthetic fibres are -

They are strong, elastic and have low water absorption.

 They are lightweight, long lasting and extremely fine.

 They are wrinkle resistant, chemically unreactive and not attacked by moths or common chemicals.

6. Thermoplastics

  • Soften on heating
  • Linear polymer
  • By addition polymerization
  • Soft, weak and can be reshaped and reused

Thermosetting plastic

  • Do not soften on heating
  • Cross - link polymer
  • By condensation polymerization
  • Hard and strong, and can not be reshaped

Thank you ❣️♥️

Hope it helps you.........

Explanation:

1. fibres obtained through different chemical processes in the industries are known as Man made or synthetic fibres .

Eg:- rayon ,nylon ,polyester ,acrylic and terylene .

2 .Fibres produced by plants or animals are called natural fibres. Best examples of plant fibres are: linen and cotton. Examples of animal fibres are: wool and silk. They have natural color.

Man made fibres created in laboratories are called synthetic fibres. Examples of synthetic fibres are acrylic, nylon and polyester. Colors can be added as per required. Coloring is difficult. Theses fabrics are not comfortable to wear when compared to natural fibres.

3.1 cotton is a natural polymer called cellulose

2 rayon is also called artificial silk

3 Terylene is a popular polyester

4. articles made from nylon are socks ,rope, tents, toothbrushes, car seat belt ,sleeping bag, curtains etc. parachutes and ropes for Rock climbing are also made from nylon thread

5 . three characteristics of synthetic fibres are :-

1 they dry up quickly

2 they are durable

3 they are cheap

6 . thermosetting plastics :-

1 thermosetting plastic cannot be bent easily it may break when forced to bend

2 thermosetting plastic cannot be softend by heating thus it cannot be reshaped once moulded

thermoplastic :-

1 thermoplastic can be bent easily

2 thermoplastic can be softend easily by heating thus it can be reshaped

I hope this answer would be helpful
