your question in the picture is half because in direct and Inverse variation 3 varations are given and forth we have to find but in your questions two varations are given
work complete in 10 hours=4/5
work complete in 8 hours=?

direct variation because if time decreases the amount of work also decreases
10/4/5=8/x
x=8/10*4/5
x=16/25

=> work done in 10 days = 1 complete work
=> work done in 1 day=1/10
=> ∴ work done in 8 days = (1/10)*8
= 4/5 of his complete work
