10. a+b+c = 9 and ab+bc+ac = 24

We have to find out the value of (a²+b²+c²).

We know that :-

➝ (x+y+x)² = (x²+y²+z²) +2(xy+yz+xz )

➝ (a+b+c)² = (a²+b²+c²) +2(ab+bc+ac )

➝ (9)² = (a²+b²+c²) +( 2×24 )

➝ 81 = (a²+b²+c²) + 48

➝ 81 - 48= a²+b²+c²

➝ 81 - 48= a²+b²+c²

➝ 33 = a²+b²+c²

11. a²+b²+c² = 83 and ab+bc+ac = 71

We have to find out the value of (a+b+c).

We know that :-

➝ (x+y+x)² = (x²+y²+z²) +2(xy+yz+xz )

➝ (a+b+c)² = 83 +(2×71)

➝ (a+b+c)² = 83 + 142

➝ (a+b+c)² = 225

➝ (a+b+c) = √(225)

➝ (a+b+c) = ± 15
