1-The author knew that his liver was out of order because he had read a patent liver- pill circular, in which were detailed the various symptoms by which a man could tell that his liver was out of order. The author had them all.
2-The speaker felt that he was a hospital in himself because he found that he had almost every disease. Explanation: ... After reading the book, the narrator found out that he had the symptoms of almost every diseases and that he can become a perfect study material for medical students, as he have all ailments.
