Answer:

Anne is a young teenage girl who was born on June 12, 1929, in Frankfurt, Germany. She caught in the anti-Semitic social conditions of the Second World War and had to flee to Amsterdam to avoid persecution. She is the youngest daughter of Mrs. and Mr. Frank.

She is a gifted writer who is sensitive to her surroundings. When she was given a diary on her thirteenth birthday, young Anne Frank writes down details of her life. She had a creative mind and even came up with a quote with what she is well known for today, 'Paper has more patience than people'.

The diary mainly consists of descriptions about her family, school, and friends. She loves to write the dairy since she has difficulty confiding her inner-most thoughts. Through the diary, we are acquainted with two sides of her personality. One side deals with her day-to-day problems as a teenager and the other is a deep philosophical side that ponders about her existence in a war-torn land.

Even though she had a loving family and a good home, she feels utterly lonely and couldn’t confide in others. She needed a true friend before whom she opens out her heart and shares her innermost feelings.

From her diary, we can understand that Anne Frank is a girl who is precocious, intelligent, charming and even under the worst circumstances she retains her sense of humor and wit. She was an innocent schoolgirl who loved to joke around.

She is a loving person who adored her family and was especially fond of her father. She loved her grandmother dearly too and after her death, Anne remembered her quite often.

She was a very talkative girl. Her math teacher, Mr. Keesing often found her very annoying and gave her extra homework. She says that she couldn’t help talking so much since her mother talked as much as she did and there wasn't much you could do about inherited traits.

Anne Frank was a brave girl because she stayed strong and never panicked during the holocaust.
