Sullivan is the teacher and constant companion of helen .she successfully awakenes helen soul to light and freedom ,and sets her spirit free .on third of March ,1887,miss Sullivan arrived at Keller's house .from that day on,helen 's life took a completely differ turn: from darkness to light ,from isolation to friendship .miss Sullivan was an extremely patient and considerance teacher who never failed to understand Helen's frustration and discontentment .she taught helen hoe to recognize the things .her methods were very simple .she taught helen how to communicate using her finger and then assited her in her education though all the institutions that helen attended.

miss Sullivan's method of teaching was very effective.she illustrated everything she taught using a poem or a story .besides ,she used to take helen out-of -doors and teach her in the lap of nature.this way,not only did she help helen learn lesson,but also develop the bond between helen and the world she was deprived of .helen dedicated her success in articulating speech sounds .to miss Sullivan's genius , untiring perseverance and devotion .helen herself says that she was the goddess.

Anne Mansfield Sullivan was the teacher of Helen Keller.

She was the one who taught Helen not just like an ordinary teacher but someone as who would teach all the aspects of life.

The day she arrived in Helen's life, Helen marked it as the most favourite day of her life. This was the day when Anne Sullivan brought a new hope of life in Helen's life.

Helen describes her as the "light of love" in her dark world. Miss Anne taught Helen many things including how to be a better human being, bookish knowledge etc etc.
