Antonio was a merchant of Venice.His shop is near to the shop of Shylock.antonio have a good character.he gave the products without price to the peoples.It hurts the Shylock.once Antonio brought amount from Shylock. But he couldn't pay it back .so he accepted to give the pound of flesh as per the rules.Due to the brilliant argument by Portia he escaped.
