How is the criteria for deciding divisions in plant kingdom different from the criteria for deciding the sub-groups among animals ?

1)Presence/ absence of vascular tissues --- plants having vascular tissues and not having them are placed seperatly or differentiated

2)covering seed /naked seed ----- some plants bear seeds openly  without any protection and some of them bear seeds inside the fruits

3)angiosperm/gymnosperm ---- some plants bear flowers , fruits are called angiosperms and those who will not are gymnosperms

4)mode of reproduction --- some plants reproduce with the method of spore formation and some through the formation of seeds

1)type of symmetry ---  there are 2 types of symmetry radial and bilateral 

2)coelom ----  weather the body is Coelomate or 
 acoelomate or pseudocoelomate 

3)presence of backbones ---- some organisms have back bone and some dont , they are classified as vertebrate and invertebrates 

4)they are also classified in terms of genus family etc
