criteria for deciding divisions in plant kingdom
----------------------------------------------------------------------
1)Presence/ absence of vascular tissues --- plants having vascular tissues and not having them are placed seperatly or differentiated
2)covering seed /naked seed ----- some plants bear seeds openly without any protection and some of them bear seeds inside the fruits
3)angiosperm/gymnosperm ---- some plants bear flowers , fruits are called angiosperms and those who will not are gymnosperms
4)mode of reproduction --- some plants reproduce with the method of spore formation and some through the formation of seeds
------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
criteria for deciding the sub-groups among animals
------------------
1)type of symmetry --- there are 2 types of symmetry radial and bilateral
2)coelom ---- weather the body is Coelomate or acoelomate or pseudocoelomate
3)presence of backbones ---- some organisms have back bone and some dont , they are classified as vertebrate and invertebrates
4)they are also classified in terms of genus family etc
