Seminary for Young Ladies. Although she is 14, due to stunted growth, she looks much younger while dressed in an old, ragged apron. She forms a close bond of friendship with Sara Crewe, and together they pretend to be 'the prisoners of the Bastille' in the Attic. Later, when Sara is found by her guardian, Becky is taken by Sara as her attendant.
