Ans : Dr.Alexander Graham Bell, the great inventor of telephone and teacher of deaf met Helen in 1886 when she was six years of age . Since then she met him several times in his beautiful home . Dr.Alexander Graham Bell used to explain his experiments to her and Helen would help in flying kites by means of which he tried to discover means of improving upon the air ships . It is his great contribution that made Helen dedicate her book " The story of my life "

Helen was of just 6 years old and it was a fortunate movement as her parents had approached bell to get his expert advice on how to teach her.Alexander graham bell was a person of great wisdom and kindness . He understood Helen's likes and dislikes and stayed by her side in all tough situations .
Bell adviced Helen's parents to send her to attend speech classes at the HORACE MANN school for the deaf in BOSTON and his advice had definitely given the fruit of strong base to Helen in her carer . Bell's sympathetic attitude won the heart of Helen. He was the door that opened the world for her .Bell was deeply commited to the education of hearing impaired. He founded the the volta bureau for the deafs . He was a teacher of the deafband this passion and his professional expertise made him develop on the nature of the sound that enabled him to invent the telephone.
Dr . Bell was of tender heart nd very poetic and humorous. This made him do work for the children and especially for the physically challenged .He remained a good friend of Helen.
