Step-by-step explanation:
The amiable mongoose is a story from the Panchatantra. It is about a mongoose that becomes a baby boy's friend as it grows older. The story begins with a farmer and his wife who adore their brand-new child. The farmer and wife agree that getting a companion animal for their son is a smart idea. As a result, the farmers give him a pet mongoose.
The farmer's wife wanted to have a pet animal to protect the child which would also be a companion to the child. They debated and decided upon a mongoose. So they brought a mongoose and started rearing it. A couple of months later, one day the farmer and his wife wanted to go out of the house leaving the child at home. The farmer believed that while they were away, the mongoose would look after the infant.. So they left the mongoose and the child at home and went out.
The farmer's wife came back early, and when she got there, she noticed that the mongoose's lips was stained with blood. She assumed that the mongoose had killed the child because of this. She tossed a box at the mongoose in a fit of rage, severely injuring it. She immediately ran inside to find out what had happened to the kid. She was shocked to discover a dead snake laying around the space. She deduced that the snake's death by the mongoose had spared the child's life. When she exited the room after realising her error, she discovered the mongoose had died on the floor. She sobbed loudly at her rash decision.
