The father of the legendary Richard Feynman was Melville Feynman. Melville was a Jewish who was born in Minsk, Belarus. Later the family emigrated to the United States when Melville was just five years old.
Melville Feynman was a very inquisitive type of person because when Richard says that his father was always interested in a process, not the facts that it produced. Hence, it shows that Melville wanted details of a process more than anything else.
