Griffin was a great scientist and he wanted to prove that human body could be made invisible.

So to prove that he himself consumed some rare drugs and became as hard as and as transparent as glass.

But he was lawless too.

He set fire on his landlord's house and even stole many things from shops.

He was even very short tempered and wasn't interested in talking to someone.

At last we can also find that he could also hurt anybody for making himself safe.

He even misused his power of being invisible.
