Further on in the story, the hitchhiker began to unwrap. His personality and thoughts began to unfold. I noticed the hitchhiker had strong opinions. The hitchhiker thinks his highly skilled job is more important than any other, ?crummy jobs?. In my opinion I would say he must have a ?crummy job?, because he is the one who is a hitchhiker. He also said ? all car makers are liars? and ?there?s a lot of bad writers around?. I admired the character when he said this. I admired him because he stuck to his guns. When the writer disagreed with him he still stuck to his opinions. At this point in the story I got more interested with this character, I think Dahl is great at getting your eyes stuck to the book.

However Dahl makes the character more fascinating and unique.
