Jason Stevens was a spoiled, over indulged young man. As he had a wealthy grandfather, he never had a job or a responsibility in his life. He spent much of his adult life in becoming a self absorbed snob. He thought that a person was nothing without money. He believed that he could live a completely worry free life because he had money.

He learnt the meaning of sacrifice, and about the comfort and love that only Jesus can provide, after his contact with Emily and her mother Alexia.
