 The Laputian King was the representative model of the people of Laputa. He was easy to be distracted and he had a great interest in math and music. When Gulliver goes to meet the Laputian king it is was very difficult for Gulliver to get his attention. He also doesn't have much liking for Gulliver as he us not good at math and music. The Laputian king is shown to lack all common sense and is described at very peculiar akin to other inhabitants of Laputa.
