"    Mr. Kalpan as referred in the story had and carried a typical Pompadour hairstyle with hair flowing upwards from the face, kept with the oil cream and he particularly carried a comb in his back pocket always as a rule. He was a hard worker as he worked after school and the whole day on the weekend.

At the young and contextually tender age of seventeen years, he worked as the part-times salesman at ‘Maling Brother’s Soes’. He had a great hold and tactic of persuading someone at his hand and was well edged with this skill. The ladies he had as his typical customers were generally clerks, secretaries or sales girls.

He would always flatter them with his words and persuade them well with his words and skills that they would end up buying two to three pairs instead of just the one pair that they thought of buying. Readers with all this saw the reflection of his strong influencing and persuading skills. The man was projected as a young, ambitious, hard-working and smart-working man."
