Pritam is a Sikh truck driver who works for a mine site and is responsible for carrying limestone from a quarry to the depot. Initially, Pritam had no concern for the ecosystem and was least apprehensive about chopping trees. However, one day while trying to save a mule from an accident, Pritam lost control of his truck and it began to roll down a valley until it was stopped by an oak tree in the way. Although he survived, Pritam had a bad injury. He realized that if the tree was not there, the truck would have rolled further down and he would have died.

It was then that Pritam understood the power of trees and how wrong it was to chop them down without any reason. Pritam decided to quit his job and go back to live with his sons.
