Parenchyma tissue's come under simple permanent tissues.
Parenchyma tissues are live cells.They are packed loosely and they have large intercellular spaces between them.
Parenchyma tissues helps in the support of the plants.They also store food.
In some situation it also contains Chlorophyll and perform Photosynthesis,so this kind of Parenchyma tissue is called Chlorenchyma.
In some aquatic plants due to intercellular spaces ,it help then and gives them bouyancy to float on water,this is called Aerenchyma.
The flexibility in plant is due to another parenchyma tissue called Collenchyma.
