• There are three types of Plastids which are classified based on the pigment present inside them :
• Chloroplasts : Green Pigment is present which is called chlorophyll
• Chromoplasts : Contain Carotinoide and Xanthophyll , they impart colours to flowers to attract pollinators
• Leucoplasts : They are colourless and store food in the form if carbohydrates , fats and proteins .
