The seagull seems to be very hungry and to satisfy his hunger and call for food, he flies off. The seagull reflects ultimate joy and happiness at the sight of the food brought by his mother for him and story reflects on the bond of the two like the motherly love and affection.
Initially, the young seagull is scared and not ready to take a flight and tries to resist the act. The seagull is also stubborn and stiff towards his decisions. It fears and does not pay any heeds to the guidance and words of his parents. The bird is also adapted to extra comfort and does not wish to leave his comfort zone and has a laid back response to life, activities and struggle as it is initially "not ready" to take up courageous or even basic initiatives.
