christoph the electrons are generated due to the donor impurity which have their corresponding positive charge there for a N or P type semiconductor is electrical neutral always.

The resulting material has a large number of free electrons. Since electrons are negative charge carriers, the resultant material is called n-type (or negative type) semiconductor. The pentavalent impurity that is added is called a 'dopant' and the process of addition is called 'doping'

nainsumit345: it is neutral
nainsumit345: not negative
