g(x)=2x+1

$By remainder theorm.---$

$2x+1=0$

$2x=-1$

$x=\frac{-1}{2}$

$So ,x=\frac{-1}{2}$

$p(-1/2) ={4\frac{-1}{2}}{}^{3}+4\frac{-1}{2}{}^{2}-\frac{-1}{2}-1$

$\frac{-4}{2}+2+\frac{1}{2}-1$

$\frac{-4}{2}+\frac{1}{2}+2-1$

$\frac{-3}{2}-1$

$\frac{4}{2}=2$
