How is momentum related to velocity of an object
samir4934:
Linear momentum is defined as the product of a system's mass multiplied by its velocity. In symbols, linearmomentum is expressed as p = mv.Momentum is directly proportional to the object's mass and also its velocity. ... Momentum p is a vector having the same direction as the velocity v.

momentum is directly proprtion to any object of fixed mass.
momentum=mass * velocity..
or velocity =momentum/mass
hope it helps ... nhi help kra to comment krlena lol

In terms of momentum,
Momentum is the mutual effect of mass and velocity
i.e. p = m × v
In terms of velocity,
Ratio of mass and momentum is velocity
i.e. v = p/m
