a=11
d=-3

-150=11+(n-1)-3
= 11-3n +3
=14 -3n
-164=3n
n= -164/3

therefore -150 is not a term of the AP.

a=11 d=8-11 or 5-8 =-3
Nth term = a+(n-1) d
= 11 + (n-1) - 3
- 150 - 11 =(n-1) - 3
- 161/-3=( n-1)
n=( 161/3)+1
This is a fraction so - 150 is not a term of the given AP.
