Solution :-

Given polynomial is x⁴ - 16

(i) x⁴ - 16

➡ (2)⁴ - 16

➡ 16 - 16

➡ 0

(ii) x⁴ - 16

➡ (-2)⁴ - 16

➡ 16 - 16

Answer:

x = -2

= (x⁴-16)

= (-2⁴)-(16)

= 16 -16

= 0

x = 2

= (x⁴-16)

= (2⁴)-(16

= 16-16

= 0

hence -2 and 2 are zeroes of the polynomial of x⁴ - 16
