Answer:

p(x)=x2-2x

p(2)=(2)^2-2(2)

=4-4

=0

p(1)=(1)^2-2(1)

=1-2

= -1

Hence...

2 is the zeroes of p(x)....and 1 is not the zeroes of p(x)

Answer:

yes and no

Step-by-step explanation:

for a number to be zero of polynomial

p(number) should be equal to 0

let x  = 2

p(2)= 2^2-2*2=0

therefore 2 is the zero of the polynomial

now let x = 1

p(1)= 1^2-1*2=-1

which is unequal to 0

therefore 1 is not the zero of p(x)
