Check whether 6 8 and 10 numbers from Pythagorean triplet

According to pythagoreas theorem,
Hypotenuse square = opposite side square + adjacent side square.
10 square = 8 square + 6 square.
100 = 64 + 36.
100 = 100.


Hence, 6, 8 and 10 form pythagorean triplet.

The sum of squares of two numbers is equal to the square of the third number the such numbers are called Pythagorean triplet.

the square of given numbers are 36 and 64

Therefore, the sum of squares would be

36+64 = 100

which is the square of third number that is 10

Note

Any three numbers which follow the given condition are known as Pythagorean triplet.
